Labrang Lamasery
At its peak the monastery housed
nearly 4000 monks, but their ranks were decimated during the Cultural
Revolution, when monks and buildings tooks a heavy beating. The numbers
are gradually recovering, and there are about 1200 monks today. |

 Les
tentes proposées par notre hotel semblent cosy mais heureusement nous
dormons dans le batiment principal. Soirée cool avec Leon and Edith.
Entre tapis volants et gazoduc.
 Le
lendemain, une belle balade à vélo dans les rues boueuses de Xiahe. La
pluie me lave non seulement le visage mais aussi l'esprit. |
